Come and Sing – Stornoway
26th September 2019 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
FreeAbout this Event
We’re working collaboratively with BBC Music Day to host a fun, dementia inclusive singing event, presented by Stephen Deazley and Joy Dunlop with live accompaniment, and featuring an exciting mix of English and Gaelic language songs.
The theme of BBC Music Day this year is music and wellbeing; the power of music to inspire, to bring us together and make a positive impact.
This event is part of a new Dementia Inclusive Choirs Network which will widen singing opportunities for people living with dementia across Scotland. This is a chance to sing together with community choirs, singing groups and individual singers from across the Outer Hebrides.
