Economic Impacts

We keep up to date with new technologies or approaches and pave the way for innovation
Scottish Care have an agile and dynamic work ethic. We look to the horizon, setting the standards to come.

We are keen to work in partnership with our members and other stakeholders. Scottish Care has a large and wide-ranging membership, but as a small organisation, recognises that it’s total is not the sum of itself. Instead, we are active collaborators, promoting co-production as a way to maximise resource and potential.

We are keen to deliver social innovation for the social care sector
Scottish Care develop plans and practice that shares learning and supports creativity, creating the conditions for innovation in social care. This enables us to influence and reshape for the long-term, as well as to respond in a crisis.

We are always looking for ways to increase our potential
Our strategy for future growth recognises that financial sustainability is as important as environmental and social sustainability.

Environmental Impacts

Our people travel
Our team is mostly home based, but when travel is required viable sustainable travel options are prioritised. We will commit to the ‘Bike to work scheme’ or similar and look towards an equivalent for electric vehicles. Our new office will have public transport links nearby.

Our business activities use natural resources
We have committed to a more efficient office space and will opt for a green energy provider. We have a paperless office and have moved most of our printing to online resources.

Measure

We are keen to manage our response to the responsibilities outlined above. We will measure against annually.
