Lissa Di Giacomo is the Managing Director of Oakminster Healthcare, based in Glasgow. With a background in finance, Lissa first became involved with Oakminster in 2002. What was initially intended to be a short three-month role alongside other professional commitments gradually grew into a long-standing career in the care sector — and, as she often reflects, the rest is history.
As her involvement with the organisation deepened, Lissa’s role naturally developed from finance into wider operational responsibilities. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, she gained a strong appreciation for the dedication and teamwork that underpin high-quality care services.
In 2014, Lissa was invited to join the Board, a step that allowed her to contribute further to the organisation’s development and long-term direction. Since then, she has continued to support Oakminster’s growth while remaining focused on maintaining the high standards of care that are central to its values.
With experience across finance, business planning, operations, coaching, and team development, Lissa values collaboration and the importance of supporting those working across the care sector. She remains committed to helping strengthen care provision and ensuring that services continue to meet the needs of the communities they serve.
