Hi, I am Debbie Cochrane, Branch Chair for Care at Home in Dumfries and Galloway. I have worked in the Sector for over 20 years, and I am committed to supporting providers and those who use our services.  Having been branch chair for a few years now I have witnessed the benefits of collaborative working, I believe working together we are in a strong position to shape the future of social care in our region.

I am Managing Director of Stewartry Care, one of the first ever care at home organisations to become Employee Owned back in 2004 and I am also an Independent Trustee for Aspire who have also transitioned into Employee Ownership.

In my spare time you will most likely find me on a bowling green (in the summer months) and in the winter months I play short mat bowls having been lucky enough to represent Scotland in past British Isles events
