Alexandra specialised in Cognitive Psychology and Social Sciences at Edinburgh University obtaining her MA Hons degree and MSc Masters Degree, in Cognitive Science. She has worked on Social Care projects with Care Staff and People with Dementia in partnership with Edinburgh University, NHS Education Scotland (NES), NHS Quality Improvement Scotland (QIS) and NHS Health Scotland. Since 2010 Alexandra has been the co-Director of AKAM Care Ltd running Isle View Nursing Home, a rural 25 bed home on the West Coast Highlands
