National Care Home Contract – Vote Outcome 27 March

National Care Home Contract – Vote Outcome 27 March

Dear member,

I am writing to inform you that, following the vote on the offer on the NCHC, those who participated voted to accept the offer.

Please find attached a copy of the letter sent to Scotland Excel accepting the offer and making it clear that we require mediation and arbitration on the outstanding areas of disagreement when discussions commence after the pandemic. It also contains the request for an urgent meeting re. emergency funding for the sector to deal with Coronavirus.

I want to at this stage to pay tribute to the amazing work that you and your staff are all doing across the country. These are exceptional times and in the days ahead my colleagues and myself will continue to support you as much as we can.

Your sincerely

Donald Macaskill

CEO
