Care Creates: Collaboration – Two Inspiring Creative Partnerships

Care Creates: Collaboration – Two Inspiring Creative Partnerships

As part of our Care Creates… Integration & Collaboration theme, we are proud to highlight two uplifting projects that demonstrate the power of partnership, creativity and community within social care.

Fringe Care Fest – Life Goes On!

Fringe Care Fest is a vibrant celebration of arts and community, created with support from Scottish Care, Partners for Integration, Edinburgh Interfaith Association, Barchester, Randolph Hill Nursing Homes Group, Asian Art Fund Scotland and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society.

The Fringe Care Fest – Life Goes On! film showcases how arts‑based activities can bring joy, connection and energy into care homes – and it also serves as a training resource to help services host their own Fringe Care Fest events.

Richmond House & Comrie Primary School: Intergenerational Song Project

Between 2024 and 2025, pupils from Comrie Primary School and residents at Richmond House in Crieff worked together through the Harmony Project to write a song celebrating Richmond House.

The project brought generations together to share memories, ideas and lyrics – culminating in a special recording session at Perth Theatre. The final song is a warm, joyful reflection of community, connection and creativity.
