Sit Less Move More care home survey

Sit Less Move More care home survey

Researchers at the University of Stirling and Paths for All are currently working together to investigate how older people living in care homes in the UK can be supported to Sit Less and Move More as part of their day to day routine. To do this, it’s important that we start with an accurate understanding of how older people are currently being supported to stay active, and what challenges this can bring up in practice. Only then can we begin to identify what practical steps can be taken to support staff and volunteers to help older residents to move more throughout the day.

The team has created a short survey so that staff and volunteers working in care homes can tell us about their experiences. The survey is completely anonymous, and takes around 15 minutes to complete and can be accessed both through desktop computers and handheld devices.

To access the survey, you can follow the short link to the survey ( https://tinyurl.com/SLMMSurvey ).

Any questions about this research, or anyone who is keen to help us raise awareness of the survey, is encouraged to email Dr Catherine Pemble at [email protected].
