Residents, families and staff at Abercorn House Care Home have been enjoying a wonderful celebration of Scotland’s rich cultural heritage, thanks to a recent Scots language session delivered by Lingo Flamingo.
Led by Margot, the session brought people together for an afternoon filled with laughter, conversation and discovery, as participants explored traditional Scots words and phrases often mistaken for slang but deeply rooted in Scotland’s linguistic history.
The Abercorn House community extended a warm thank you to Margot and the Lingo Flamingo team for delivering such an engaging and memorable experience.
With enthusiasm already building, residents are looking forward to welcoming them back for future sessions, saying that they “cannae wait for the next session!”
