I am the Director of Cairllum Care in Ayr and Plus Homecare in East Renfrewshire. My wife and I set up the business in 2015 as we wanted to deliver a high-quality care service and we are still driven today to do that. In what is a challenging sector that appears to get more challenging with each year we are still passionate about the people we support, and our staff are at the heart of what we do. This is my second year as Pan-Ayrshire care at home chair and I am still trying to find the best way we can connect with each other to achieve the best for our members. I feel that being part of Scottish Care should give us smaller businesses the support and assistance we often need and I truly believe we are stronger working together for the development of our sector.
