I’m the Finance Manager at Scottish Care, where I’ve worked since August 2017, leading financial management across our charitable and commercial activities. I work closely with our Chief Executive, Senior Leadership Team, and Board to provide clear financial insight and ensure strong governance and accountability.

My role covers budgeting, reporting, cash flow, and funding, helping to ensure Scottish Care remains financially resilient and able to support the independent social care sector.

Before joining Scottish Care, I spent many years working in financial roles while living abroad, primarily in Germany. As an army wife for over 30 years, I had the opportunity to travel extensively, which has shaped my adaptability, resilience, and appreciation for different cultures and ways of working.

I’m known for my attention to detail and collaborative approach, and I value building strong relationships with colleagues, auditors, and partners. When I’m not working, you’ll most likely find me on a beach somewhere with my cockapoo, Dougal—and my husband Gordon—although Dougal would definitely argue the walks are all about him!
