Membership Support

I am the Membership Support Manager at Scottish Care, where I lead on supporting, engaging and advocating for care providers across Scotland. I’ve been with Scottish Care since 2019 and, over the past six years, my role has evolved into a central position connecting members, partners and national stakeholders to help shape a stronger, more sustainable care sector.

My background is in marketing, communications and strategic account management, with over 20 years’ experience across not-for-profit, academia and commercial environments. I spent much of my career in Boston, Massachusetts, including a significant period at MIT Sloan School of Management, where I led communications strategy and partnerships and delivered a large-scale digital transformation project. Earlier in my career, I held global roles focused on community growth, client relationships and brand development.

At Scottish Care, I work closely with our members to understand the challenges they face and ensure their voices are heard at a national level. This includes developing new ways to strengthen engagement, building partnerships across government and sector bodies, and supporting advocacy on key issues such as funding, workforce and sustainability. I’m also closely involved in digital and organisational development, helping to enhance how we use data, communications and systems to support our members more effectively.

I’m driven by a strong belief in the value of social care and the people who deliver it every day. I’m passionate about creating opportunities for members to connect, influence and feel supported – and about ensuring that care is visible, valued and understood across Scotland.

Outside of work, I’m a busy mum of two and a proud owner of a wee dog called Milo, who I absolutely adore. I also feel incredibly fortunate to work alongside colleagues who are not only talented but deeply passionate about what they do – a team that genuinely cares about making a difference to the sector every day.
