This workforce development day aims to bring people together who are leading improvement learning activity across Scotland’s social services. The event will look at the resources which are available to support people to learn about quality improvement. Throughout the day you are encouraged to share your learning and examples from your practice. You will have the opportunity to contribute to more detailed discussions in areas of interest such as practice guidance, establishing improvement learning support groups and project work, simple improvement techniques and searching and using evidence.

By the end of the day, you will:

• be more aware of what’s available to support improvement activity in social services in Scotland and hear from others who are leading some of this
• shape what else is needed to support you in your leading improvement role, building on feedback received from previous improvement leaders events in 2019
• increase your knowledge and understanding of learning activity to support improvement and how to access this to support learners locally.
