Scottish Care and SSSC host a Forum on Regulation to ensure the independent sector can contribute to the development of policy in relation to registration, regulation and fitness to practice. This is jointly chaired by Laura Wylie (SSSC) and Katharine Ross for Scottish Care.

The primary purpose of the group is to establish a channel for communication between the SSSC and the independent sector care and support providers. The meetings will promote provider engagement with the SSSC as it develops and/or reviews its processes or systems relating to the SSSC registration processes.
