DISCLOSURE SCOTLAND – REGIONAL EVENTS

Disclosure Scotland are planning to organise a number of events around the country with workshops for Registered Bodies.

We have now delivered 8 of these events for a wide range of Registered Bodies and have tailored the events to meet specific needs of the organisation as and when required. All those who have attended have found it  worthwhile, informative and more importantly it has highlighted knowledge gaps that organisations are then able to take steps to bridge.

One such area is the “Duty to Refer” highlighting this very important legal responsibility has proved invaluable to both Disclosure Scotland and to those who attend, particularly in reinforcing the legal obligation Registered Bodies have within this legislation.

To build on this success Disclosure Scotland are rolling these events out and we are looking to engage with as many of our Registered Bodies as possible.

I have identified two dates which will be set aside solely for these organisations, the dates are 14 October 2016 to be held in the Scottish Government Buildings, 5 Atlantic Quay Glasgow and 18 October 2016 at Scottish Government Buildings Victoria Quay in Edinburgh, both event will be able to accommodate in the region of 50 – 60 delegates.
