Care Home Gathering

The Care Home Gathering took place virtually from Tuesday 19 January to Thursday 21 January 2021.

We are proud to have brought over 270 people together to reflect and share experiences from the care home sector. We hope delegates found the event insightful and we look forward to welcoming you to another Scottish Care event in the future.

The Care Home Gathering reflected on the issues that care homes has faced during the Covid-19 pandemic and explored new innovations that have been implemented during this time.

There was a series of online sessions over this three-day period, bringing together a range of speakers and panellists. The sessions were themed for each day of this event:

Tuesday 19th January – Remembering a year of pain and professionalism

Wednesday 20th January –  Living with a pandemic: practical insights and innovations 

Thursday 21st January – Reclaiming and renewing: change that matters
