Branch Chair Visits 2025/2026

BRANCH CHAIR VISITS 2025/2026

› Branch Chair Visits

As part of our annual Branch Visits programme that we are kicking off for our second year, we have a series of branch chair visits to meet with Scottish Care’s leadership team, including Dr. Donald Macaskill (Chief Executive) and Karen Hedge (Deputy CEO). This is an unmissable opportunity to connect directly with Donald and Karen.

Why should you attend in person?

  1. Direct access to decision-makers: This is your chance to have face-to-face conversations with Scottish Care’s senior leadership. These connections are invaluable when it comes to having your voice heard and influencing decisions that impact your work.
  2. Build stronger networks: In-person meetings foster stronger relationships, allowing you to connect with your Branch Chair, Independent Sector Lead, and colleagues from other organisations. You’ll leave with meaningful, real-world insights that you can apply immediately to your work and share with your teams.
  3. Address challenges in real-time: Face-to-face interactions allow for deeper, more productive discussions on the challenges you face. It’s much easier to articulate your issues, share success stories, and get real-time feedback when you’re in the room together. You won’t get that level of engagement over Teams.
  4. Maximise the impact of your voice: If you want to ensure your issues and successes are taken seriously and addressed with urgency, being present makes all the difference. Don’t miss out on this chance to directly influence the conversation and shape the future of our sector.

We want this meeting to be as impactful as possible, and your attendance is key to making that happen. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to make a difference for yourself, your organisation, and our sector.
